Ah, spring time how I love ya!

I can’t help but feel completely sakura fan-crazed and constantly oohing and ahhing at all the confetti buds on either the trees or carpet on the ground.

Inspired by all the flowers blooming right now, I love the botanical print on this skirt as it hints to something organic found in a bygone biology book rather than the symmetrical patterns you often see in stores. I also love this whole half bun undo trend ever since my favourite style muse Rita Ora featured it in her music clip “Body on Me.”

The mark of Spring is also a very busy and significant time on the calendar with many graduating or entering college freshman year for the first time, to the many young graduates dressed in business suits in hopes to win a spot at their desired career jobs. The positive new beginning is mixed with the melancholy of looking at the cherry blossoms as you leave the school gates for the last time.

For me, my final university semester brings a bit of sadness for its impending end but with Spring and Summer being an exciting time with festivals and many local attractions opening for the warmer season, I’m gonna make sure every moment counts until the end!

Until Next Time!

I love that flowery skirt, too, Siree! Perfect for the cherry-blossom springtime, and very fetching on you. The blue blouse and your hair give you a very Onna-bugeisha 女武芸者 look, though, more Tomoe Gozen than Sakura the cherry-blossom girl…
